Each semester the computer college in the information technology (IT) department has a lot of graduated students that is means a lot of graduation projects. Most of these projects have great value, some were published in scientific journals and international conferences. The graduation projects are important because it is reflect the academic profile and achievement of the students. For years many graduation projects done by information technology department students. However, there no system to analyze and classify the graduation project. These projects are stored in a random manner that wastes time, effort and can not take benefit from it. We propose to build a system that collects, analyzes, and classifying a graduation project. The system will allow the college to take the benefits from the projects and will help to participate in competitions and project incubators. Moreover, this helps to know the general direction of projects, which helps in determining the focus of future projects to contribute to the achievement of Saudi Vision 2030.

Evolution of Genetic Code

The impact of using Blackboard as an E-learning Management System on Student’s Grades.

The Learning Management System (LMS) is a core system that contributes to supporting e-learning, managing content, providing learning tools, and facilitating communication between students and teachers; the leaderboard in the learning management system. This project aims to measure the impact of whiteboard-based e-learning use. We measure the effect of black- board use on male students by comparing male and female students ’degrees of online learning (online class preparation) and traditional (face-to-face) learning at Qassim University, using statistical methods and data mining algorithms. We also develop A supportive tool that helps teachers manage some important tasks such as (student attendance, interaction, grades ... etc). This tool will take student information from the system and push automatic notifications to all concerned people via SMS. Our goal measures the satisfaction of students and faculty (male and female) with the use of the electronic learning system Blackboard. We target those whose study plan includes online courses. Through an electronic questionnaire submitted through the blackboard system.

Histopathological Colon Cancer Detection Using Machine Learning

Colorectal Cancer (CRC) is a malignant tumor located in the colon or rectum region, and it is the second leading cause of death globally between cancer types. Early detection often allows for more treatment options. With the increasing rates of colon samples, the diagnosis workload has increased on pathologists, which might risk a wrong clinical diagnosis. Wrong clinical diagnosis could lead to an accidental loss of life, and this is where the role of Deep Learning (DL) to aid in early medical detection is of great significance to increase the probabil- ity of survival. DL is the primary location of never-ending medical data where it employs this data into useful knowledge. Its performance in medical diagnosis is exceptional. In our project, we aim to improve on the histopathological colon cancer detection model by employing DL and Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) with a higher level of performance and refinement to improve on previous studies. We also examine the effect of Stain Normalization (SN) on histopathology images and how it improved the performance of our model.

Considering that application security is an important aspect, especially nowadays with the increase in technology and the number of fraudsters. It should be noted that determining the security of an application is a difficult task, especially since most fraudsters have become skilled and professional at manipulating people and stealing their sensitive data. Therefore, we pay attention to trying to spot insecurity apps, by analysing user feedback on the Google Play plat- form and using sentiment analysis to determine the apps level of security. As it is known, user reviews reflect their experiments and experiences in addition to their feelings and satisfaction with the application or not. But unfortunately not all of these reviews are real, and as is known, the fake reviews do not reflect the sincerity of feelings , so we have been keen in our work to filter the reviews to be the result is accurate and correct. This project is useful for both users wanting to install android apps and for developers interested in app optimisation.

SLS Simple Link Scanner : Developing an effective (easy-to-read & use) link checker

In the 20th century, cyberspace became the dominant platform for life. Cybersecurity plays a prominent role in increases awareness of all potential threats of cyber risks. The threat of Uniform Resource Locator (URL) is the base stone of criminal activities, because it only re- quires one click to be under threat. You may need to click on the URL because it serves your need, but you do not know if the link is safe to visit or not. Therefor, a simple link scanner is considered one of the most important services in cyber security space. This paper presents our design and implementation of a simple link scanner, called the Simple Link Scanner (SLS) system. SLS provides the user with three main functionality: a link scan- ner, timeline for all the messages that have malicious URLs, readable and user-friendly interface for the scanning result with supporting of Arabic language. SLS focuses on generating blacklist of all the harmful URL that spread in our community. SLS Also collaborating with the the National Cybersecurity Authority by sending all the mali- cious URLs to the authority as reporting, towards a safe and reliable Saudi cyberspace.

Trusted Crowdfunding Using Blockchain

There are lots of developments in the fields of science and technology but even in these days very important agreements related to properties, Crowdfunding are made on paper which is not at all safe as they can be duplicated or forgery can be done. Even if the agreements are digital they can be hacked if no security surrounds them. But if agreements, applications are made using smart contracts the security will be increased by a large scale.In normal crowd funding the entire amount is directly in the hands of manager and also the amount used by manager doesn’t involve investors opinion. So, there is no security ensured in this case. The proposed methodology creates a smart contract in such a way that the entire funding amount will be inside the smart contract and when the manager wants to make use of funding amount and buy something from a vendor, he/she has to make a spending request and then investors have to vote on that request. If the contract gets majority amount of votes the amount will be automatically sent to the vendor. In this way process of crowd funding can be made better and trustworthy.

Detecting Credit Card Fraud using Machine Learning

An Automatic Road Crack Detection System

Recently, there has been attention to smart city and the increasing of labour costs, how to continuously and automatically monitor the structure with the least amount of manpower has become an important research direction. Therefore, there are tremendous robotic-based applications designed to observe, predict, or detect the changes that could happen in the civil engineering infrastructure. One of these applications is detecting road cracks. In this project, an overview is conducted to explain the automatic crack detection systems then we present a detailed analysis about extracting the road cracks. In particular, U-Net is one type of Fully Connected Convolutional Neural Network that can be applied on various of road crack datasets. U-Net is faster because it needs a small number of images for training. Also, it can detect cracks under various conditions such as background noise, shadow, illumination, etc. Traditional image processing methods are combined with U-net model to improve the performance through focus on region of interest. This research can be benefited to control the traffic speed, grantee safety on roads and regular maintain civil infrastructure.
