In recent years, the recommendation system has been used extensively in many fields such as Amazon, YouTube, Netflix, and others. Therefore, this project suggests using recommendation engines in banks and financial services to solve the problem of many people who do not know how to manage their income. This project uses recommendation technologies with input data as last month’s bank statement to get recommendations as to what one’s overspending on (as opposed to other users). The goal of this project is to help these people managing their income based on knowing the customer’s behavior and providing appropriate recommendations to each customer and suggests highly and efficient results to save their money.

Query Code Application for Student Attendance in Qassim University

Smartphones are becoming play a significant role in our day to day life. Nowadays smart- phones can solve most of the problem very quickly and easily. In our project, smartphones will help develop the way students current attendance, to speed up the process of taking student attendance would save lecturing time. In this project, we proposes a system that is based on a QR code, which is being displayed for students during of each lecture. Students then need to scan the code to confirm their presence. The student attendance reports will be generated in CSV and XLS sheet for further use. We will discusses how the system verifies student identity to eliminate false registration.

Smart Age Detection For Social Media Using Deep Learning Techniques via Ear Shape

Over the recent years, there has been an immense attraction towards age detection due to its raised implementation in various sectors. Such as government regulations and rules, security control, and human computer interaction. Popular human features such as the face and fingerprints can be modified or changed with time. However, ear has a stable structure that does not change with time and have unique features that satisfies the requirements of a biometric trait. This research presents a detailed analysis extracting the features of the human ear only by applying Deep Learning techniques. In particular, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is applied on large datasets which have multiple layers to extract the features and classify them. The proposed methodology increased the number of the dataset by collecting more private children datasets, and consequently achieved high accuracy by 98.75% along with amending the architecture of the selected neural network compared to previous studies. This research can be benefited to control the contents of social media by detecting the age of group whether it is under 18 or above 18.

The experimental results have shown that our approach improve accuracy compared to different approaches.

Smart Reader App for Blind People ”in Arabic”

The blind people and the visually impaired are part of this community and they have to live a normal life and adapt to this community. We, as Information Technology students, find the responsibility to serve them. We search in must of the systems that build for blind people most of them are for guiding or for detecting objects around by specific devices for example a stick or a glasses it is consider more expensive and not available for all blind people. They need a service that available for them any time and any where and become free for them. We found that the detecting and recognize text’s by blind’s is one of the most difficult tasks that they perform because they are unable to identify text or read what is its, and there almost no any systems specified for blind people that provide a service to read text in Arabic for them, therefore they often have to accompany a person helps them to read for them or asking people around. We propose developing an application that helps the blind and visually impaired to read texts anytime and anywhere. We will be develop an app by the Android Studio platform in Java programming language along with Python programming language connected to use them together by Chaquopy tool. This application will perform two main tasks. First, it will recognize Arabic and English texts with OCR through the camera, when the image contain Arabic text the android studio will not recognize any thing because Arabic languages not support into it, so what will happen is the android app will use the Python code by the Chaquopy which is the easiest way to use Python in Android app, so the same image will be used in Python and by ArabicOcr library the image will be analysed to produce a file text contain the text recognized from the image then it send the file back to android app. and for the image with English texts there is English text detection provided in android studio by vision library which is from Google, the English text’s can be in various styles and sizes. Second in the app it will take the text recognized either from Arabic or English and convert it to clearly voice by using TextToSpeech library in Android Studio. So as we say it will be developed through the Android Studio platform in Java programming language along Python programming language connected together by Chaquopy tool, The main target of this application is that will be easy to use and without complications.

A System for Tracking the Presence of Students at Educational Institutions

Nowadays, technology has managed to invade the lives of individuals in all its fields, as the use of technology in education has become one of the most widespread and beneficial things ever, as it allowed individuals a great scientific development, especially when incorporated in tracking students’ attendance in educational institutions. It is extremely important to move students to advanced and more advanced levels of education than ever before, and it stimulates the creation of a distinctive learning environment by possessing unique digital tools. Tracking systems play important roles in tracking moving objects in various fields to avoid many problems that may occur. In some cases, students run away from educational institutions during school hours. Therefore, a system can be developed to track students effectively. Where automatic identification procedures are spread in many sectors such as industries, services, procurement, distribution and safety systems. This technology is used to provide sufficient and continuous information about industrial products or the identity of people. This study aims to build a technology-based (RFID) system to track student attendance in educational institutions. The system is built in three main phases. In the first stage, data was collected and analyzed from previous studies. In the next stage, the database is designed and the application and system graphic interfaces (RFID) are designed. In the final stage, the database and devices were imple- mented and programmed in addition to the application’s graphical interfaces as well as system validation in key cases. Through this system, parents can easily inquire about their children’s entry and exit times from the educational institution. It also reduces the burden on educational institutions when parents inquire about their children.

Nowadays, many people prefer to purchase through online websites. Usually, those people start with reading user reviews and comments before making a purchase decision. The user reviews are considered powerful sources of information about products, in which users share opinions and previous experiences on using these products. However, these reviews are mostly textual and uncategorized. Thus, new customers need to read a massive amount of reviews, one by one, in order to make a decision. In specific, there is a research gap text analysis i.e. LDA in unsupervised learning produce inaccurate results. This project attempts to bridge this gap and combine two approaches of topic modeling which are unsupervised and supervised learning, i.e., semi-supervised learning, for classifying the reviews to enhance text analysis. In addition, it makes classification based on sentiment analysis and visualize the reviews as a dashboard.

Due to the dangerous effects of air pollution on human’s health, this project proposes an air pollution prediction system. Because of the high dust pollution in Saudi Arabia, and the fact that there is no system for predicting the percentage of air pollution in it, hence, this project will apply air pollution prediction system on the most affected area in Saudi Arabia. This project aims to align with the Saudi vision 2030 by having an ideal environment and act in an efficient way in case of a warning situation. It applies deep learning technique which called long short term memory LSTM to predict the air pollution in Saudi Arabia.

Location based services (LBS) are services offered through a mobile phone application take into account the device’s geographical location. Because LBS are largely dependent on the mobile user’s location, the primary objective of the service provider’s system is to determine where the user is and what are the available services and locations around the current location. This project needs hardware (mobiles and beacons, software and digital maps) as well.
