Deoxyribonucleic Acid(DNA)contains the genetic code, which includes comprehensive infor- mation for protein synthesis in every human cell. Each gene encodes for the same protein, but the majority of DNA sequences are not coded. In addition to this non-coding portion of DNA, there is another repetition in the form of DNA triplets (codons) that match a specific amino acid code. A codon is a triplet of nucleotides that specifies each amino acid. Nucleotides are classified into four types: adenine(A), guanine(G), cytosine(C), and thymine(T). From a bio- logical standpoint, the genetic code has 64 potential alterations or combinations of three-letter nucleotide groups that may be generated using the four nucleotides. The goal of this project is extending the canonical genetic code by add two more bases to the original four by studying the genetic code’s structure using graph theory.

Date fruit is one of the most famous types of fruits in the Middle East. It consists of several types and can be classified in different ways. In this research, we have classified dates according to the grade of quality, so that one type of dates consists of several degrees of quality. This project targets tourists and consumers and it will be very useful to know the dates when buying. We chose CNN classification method for multi-label classification of date fruit, CNN works well with any image as the algorithm provides perfect structure by classifying the images. In this project, three types of dates were studied, namely Sukkari, Ajwa and Mabroum, and each type has different grade of quality. The main objective of our research is to create a model and work on an application that supports the model that helps the consumer to obtain an immediate solution to the problem of determining the quality of dates very easily.

Retinoblastoma (Rb) is a type of eye cancer that starts in the retina, which is the delicate inner lining of the eye. Rb is more common in young children, although it may also attack adults. Leukocoria (LE) is the most common symptom of this cancer, it appears as an abnormal white pupil in images. Rb is mostly diagnosed by performing an ophthalmic exam, but this is not very effective as it leads to late discovery. Early discovery leads to better response to treatment, thus our project sets out to developing an easy to use mobile application to detect Rb in children from images using the MobileNetV2 architecture, in the earliest stage possible . The model was trained using 420 images across the four class labels (healthy, RR, RL, and RB). The model produced an accuracy score of 63%. This study produced good results in spite of the extremely small dataset, however in future we plan to improve the performance of our application and add new features so our application can be used in hospitals everywhere, and by parents anytime.

Harvest period is a critical time for farmers. They must sort the dates and store them in a limited period to maintain the quality of the dates. To do this task, it costs them a lot of effort and money. In this regard, this project focuses on providing a computer vision system that helps farmers to sort the date fruits by classification date type automatically by building a machine learning model. We will use available dataset as well as our own dataset of date fruits to train and test our model. We will use number of machine learning algorithms mainly K-Nearest Neighborhood (K-NN), Support Vector Machine (SVM), Multi-layer Perceptron and random forest.

Diagnosing leukemia is one of the most difficult issues facing hospitals and medical teams due to the need to make quick medical decisions in a short time before treatment of this disease becomes impossible especially for children because they are considered the ones most affected by leukemia. Fortunately, there are many scientistic sides that made a lot of studies and theories for serving the medical domain, especially artificial intelligence. This research introduces a technique to classify microarray data analysis with machine learning to detect leukemia using imaging processing. The data has been taken from both infected and non-infected people in laboratory image format. The classification algorithms which are used in this research SVM, KNN, and Naive Bayes. The main goal for this research is to provide the most accurate percentage among these algorithms and therefore that leads to providing a high prediction of leukemia.

Braille is a special system of communication for the blind and visually impaired individ- uals, using raised dots to represent the alphabet and sensed by their fingers for reading and writing. Therefore, it is not a language. Rather, it is a code that allows many languages, including English, Arabic, Chinese, and dozens more, to be written and read. It is used by millions of individuals universally and is a means of literacy for those people. To improve the lives of the visually impaired, Braille-assisted technologies must be implemented and provided in their daily lives. The Optical Braille Recognition (OBR) system is an example of such technology, overcoming the communication barriers between sighted and blind individuals and working as an assistant for the sighted individuals to read and understand Braille formatted documents. However, there is a significant gap in present OBR technologies when it comes to communication between the visually impaired and sighted individuals, as very few of them allow sighted individuals to understand the Braille system and documents. With the use of a deep learning-based approach, this project presents a model for converting Braille dots into English characters, broadening the communication bridge between sighted and visually impaired people.

The spread of contagious diseases is a global problem, especially in public areas, where it is difficult to use traditional methods of monitoring. It is possible to reduce the spread of viruses, including Covid-19, by wearing a face mask, as recommended by WHO. There is a need for professional monitoring methods to effectively ensure people’s adherence to the WHO recommendation. Recently, deep learning has shown huge success in a variety of real-world applications. Computer vision, which is a branch of deep learning, could be used to develop a powerful face mask monitoring system. In this project, we present a robust deep CNN model to detect the presence of face masks among individuals as a monitoring solution. The proposed model was trained using the Roboflow platform with a new dataset created by us. The experi- mental results showed that the proposed approach outperformed the state-of-the-art techniques by obtaining a Mean Average Precision(mAP) value of 91.1

Saudi sign language is the native language of the Saudi community’s deaf people. It has its own syntax and grammar which distinguish it apart from any other Arabic sign language. In this project, we’re attempting to construct a 3D avatar application for Saudi sign language in order to facilitate communication with deaf Saudis, particularly in interaction and information sharing between individuals involved. There aren’t enough resources for the Saudi sign lan- guage, such as datasets and a digital copy of the Saudi sign dictionary. As part of a translation system, we will build an initial dictionary. Saudi speech will be converted using a speech recog- nition engine, after which the words will be processed and the signs will be generated using motion capture tools. In addition to several animation generation software that will be used to create the 3D avatar. Everything will be integrated together to represent the right sign in accordance with the spoken word/sentence. This is, to our knowledge, the first study of a 3D avatar translation system for Saudi sign language that addresses the most recent research on Avatar-based translation systems, as well as the tools and techniques utilized to develop the system, such as avatar creation tools and translation systems.

The problem of parking is one of the biggest problems that cities suffer from nowadays, especially large cities, as the number of cars is greater. It takes a long time to find a parking space which leads to increased traffic congestion. It also negatively affects the environment as it consumes fuel during the search process. Also, do not forget to mention the psychological impact of stress and anxiety on motorists during this process. Often the cause of the problem is that drivers do not know what parking spaces are available to go directly to it. As a solution to this problem, which is becoming more and more apparent due to the increase in the number of motorists, smart parking management system using the Internet of Things (IoT) has been proposed. The Internet of Things allowed us to create a connection between things to exchange information, which allowed us to take advantage of it to create a system that solves a situational crisis. Our proposed work relies on the Internet of Things to create a connection between sensors that collect information in real-time to send it to the databases that are used by our website and give the user features that help him save time and effort at the parking.
